History of Machine Gun

Overview

A machine gun is a heavy weapon that fires sustained automatic bursts from a large magazine. Machine guns use heavy ammunition and are equipped in the Power weapon slot. They are suited to suppressing groups of enemies and damaging bosses.

Frames

Legendary machine guns are grouped into three frames by fire rate: Rapid-Fire at 900 RPM, Adaptive at 450 RPM, and High-Impact at 360 RPM. Listed machine guns use Stasis, Solar, Arc, Void, or Strand damage. Some weapons can roll Harrowed or Adept versions.

Acquisition

Machine guns come from crafting, dungeons, raids, Trials of Osiris, Iron Banner, Nightfall rewards, and Exotic drops.

Reloading

With The Edge of Fate, a machine gun's reload can be interrupted and resumed at certain stages.
