Overview

MCXXXV. is a victory-celebration lore triumph from the Chronicon, a lore book added with Season of Opulence. It was recorded by Scribe Shagac and is filed under Emperor Calus and Rasputin.

After Calus defeats his enemies with the Shadow of Earth at his side, royal wine flows for his friends, and the planetoid Nessus is placed at his table as a symbol of celebration. After Rasputin is destroyed, the Hellas Basin on Mars is remade into a monument to Calus: the BrayTech Futurescape is replaced by the Temple of Revelry, and the planet's red sands become a sulphurous mudflat. On Earth, humanity holds the Feast of Emperor Calus, where children wear golden masks and reenact his remaking of the System.

How to complete

Chronicon entries are unlocked by upgrading the Chalice of Opulence. The Chronicon is propaganda in Calus's favor, and it openly prefers exaggerated praise of the Emperor to a lack of imagination.
