History of Luna – 9

Overview

Luna – 9 is a lore-card Triumph in Destiny 2, one of nine Luna entries in the lore book Tales of the Forgotten – Vol. 1. The book was added in the 2021 Festival of the Lost during Season of the Lost. Its speakers are Techeun Ylaia and Glint.

Lore

Ylaia explains to Glint that Golden Age monsters, including the Headless Ones, trace back to illicit experiments by Clovis Bray and a Hive faction led by the Wizard Nokris, which used living and dead subjects, including Moon miners. She suggests the pumpkins boosted Nokris's research and may explain why the Headless Ones persist and resemble Golden Age relics. Glint doubts pumpkins are powerful relics, and Ylaia calls them "the fruit of the damned."
