History of Light Subclasses

Overview

Light Subclasses is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the completion of a Light subclass quest provided by Ikora Rey. The quest introduces the Fragment system, which allows Guardians to further customize their build. Completing the quest enables the purchase of Fragments for Light subclasses directly from Ikora Rey.

Each Light subclass has its own introductory quest from Ikora Rey, added in Season of the Deep:

• Solar: Exalting the Flame teaches Scorch and the Solar subclass.
• Arc: Taming the Storm teaches Jolt and the Arc subclass.
• Void: Into the Abyss teaches Weaken and the Void subclass.

How to complete

1. Travel to the Tower and locate Ikora Rey at the Bazaar.
2. Start the Light subclass quest from Ikora Rey. Each quest teaches the subclass's abilities, and some lessons have you buy grenades or Aspects from her.
3. Complete the quest objectives to earn progress toward the triumph.
4. After the quest, Ikora sells Fragments for the subclass, which you can then equip to customize your build.
