Light Mote

Overview

'''Light Motes''' and '''Dark Motes''' are the mechanic of the Prophecy dungeon. Slain Taken Knights drop motes. Your position sets the type: standing in bright areas drops Light Motes, and standing in darker areas drops Dark Motes. White tendrils at the screen edges mean Light Motes, and dark tendrils mean Dark Motes.

Carrying and depositing

Five motes of one type form a charged Mote. Drop your weapons to carry it, then run to the pillar matching its color and use your fire button to purge the pillar. Picking up the other type before reaching five removes your current stack, and using your class ability or Super also clears a full stack.
