Lethe

Overview

Lethe is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the lore entry of the same name, added with Destiny 2: The Final Shape in July 2024. The entry is listed in the The Rubicon book.

The entry is a first-person monologue by an unnamed narrator who feels disconnected from the collective "we" and remembers a past life of creation and failure. The narrator mourns a friend who once tried to save them and whom they sent away, and wonders whether that friend survived the advance of The Witness and whether they will be trapped when the Final Shape forms. Despite the consensus view that the Final Shape is perfect, the narrator feels only sadness.
