Overview
Legend Defiant Battleground: Orbital Prison is the Legend-difficulty version of Defiant Battleground: Orbital Prison, one of the three Defiant Battlegrounds introduced in Season of Defiance alongside Destiny 2: Lightfall. Rescue captives from a Shadow Legion prison ship. It is a Seasonal Arena-type activity set in the European Dead Zone. Defiant Battlegrounds are launched from the destination or the H.E.L.M. Battlegrounds playlist and use the Ascendant Scepter from the Lightfall opening mission. Defiant Battlegrounds are listed as a three-player matchmade activity.
Encounters and mechanics
The layout matches the base activity: start at The Farm, then reach a Shadow Legion prison ship in near-Earth orbit. The boss is Bracus Kravaum. Expect tougher Champion and combatant pressure than the base version.
Rewards
Same Legendary loot pool as the base Battleground (Glimmer, seasonal Defiant weapons and Luminopotent armour; Defiant Keys open the bonus chest). Defiant Battlegrounds are now in the Vanguard Ops playlist after Destiny 2: The Final Shape rather than being seasonal-only.
