Legacy's Lament

Overview

Legacy's Lament is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that unlocks pages of a lore book about the Vex takeover of Europa during the Golden Age. It was added with Beyond Light. The objective is to gather 10 stories.

The lore book is narrated by Exos of the Bray family. Each entry is first-person narration from a different Exo, and the entries cover the Vex portal attack on Europa, the Bray family's betrayals and sacrifices, and the battle to shut the portal down.

How to complete

1. Start the Exotic quest Lost Lament. Banshee-44 sends you to look for dead Exos on Europa.
2. Find the nine dead Exos on Europa. The first is in the Concealed Void, in the Asterion Abyss, surrounded by Vex technology.
3. Examine each corpse. Examining it plays the audio log, and that unlocks the matching entry.
4. Complete Lost Lament to unlock the final entry, the conversation with the AI of Clovis Bray I. It becomes available once all other entries are unlocked.

Each corpse counts toward the "Stories gathered" objective until all 10 are gathered.
