Overview

Legacy: Beyond Light is the campaign quest for the Beyond Light expansion (released 10 November 2020), now kept as a Legacy quest. It starts after the opening missions with Variks on Europa and ends with a debrief from Zavala at the Tower. Expect 6 to 12 hours. Europa and the campaign are no longer a standalone purchase flow: after the Destiny Content Vault and later expansion releases, check the in-game Quest Archive for whether it is available to you.

Walkthrough

  1. Complete the "The New Kell" mission.
  2. Return to Variks in Charon's Crossing.
  3. Complete "Rising Resistance".
  4. Speak to the Exo Stranger about the monolith.
  5. Attune the Splinter of Darkness at the Ziggurat in Beyond; commune with a Crux of Darkness in Nexus and open the Stasis-sealed chest there.
  6. Regroup with Variks, then in a single life defeat 35 Fallen in Eventide Ruins, defeat Elenaks, Salvation Elite in Asterion Abyss, and complete the "The Warrior" Empire Hunt (Phylaks).
  7. Return to the Exo Stranger; attune the next seal; commune with the Crux in Bray Exoscience; regroup with Variks.
  8. Collect 10 tracking devices from Vex in Asterion Abyss (Minotaurs always drop them), shut down Praksis's conflux in Cadmus Ridge, and complete "The Technocrat" Empire Hunt.
  9. Return to camp, then speak to Shaw Han in The Steppes. Defeat Fallen in the Cosmodrome Divide for intel (5), then kill Bakris, the Adamantine in the Exodus Garden 2A Lost Sector.
  10. Complete "The Glassway" Strike, return to the Exo Stranger, attune the third seal and commune at the Riis-Reborn Approach.
  11. Regroup with Variks, escort the Skiff out of Eventide Ruins, and complete "The Kell of Darkness" mission against Eramis.
  12. Return to the Exo Stranger, attune the final seal, embrace Stasis and speak to her as an adept.
  13. Report to Zavala at the Tower.

Rewards

  • Full Stasis subclass unlocking (glyph progression), per in-game text; campaign gear and the exotic No Time to Explain Pulse Rifle per Shacknews.
