Kheprian Axehead

Overview

Kheprian Axehead is an exotic fish from Season of the Deep in Destiny 2. Catching one completes the triumph of the same name and counts toward the location Angler triumphs and the exotic fish set.

How to complete

1. Go to a Fishing Pond. The Kheprian Axehead is the only exotic fish of the season that spawns in every pond, on all three planets: Miasma (Savathun's Throne World), The Cistern (Nessus) and the Outskirts (EDZ).
2. If a public event shuts down one planet's pond, travel to another planet instead of waiting.
3. Carry plenty of bait. Players recommend at least 100 for each exotic fish, since they are rare and have low spawn chances. Bait comes from seasonal activities, strikes, Gambit, Crucible, patrols, public events and planetary resources, and you can hold up to 500.
4. Deposit the fish in the H.E.L.M. aquarium to receive the reward for the exotic fish set.

Triumph credit

A Bungie staff reply from May 2023 confirms the fish can be caught anywhere, and it counts toward all three location Angler triumphs.

Rewards

Catching all four exotic fish earns the Exotic Angler triumph and the Pond Pals emblem.
