Kell's Fall: Reflection

Kell's Fall is the Exotic mission added with Episode: Revenant Act III (January 2025) in Fikrul's Revenant Fortress on The Tangled Shore. Reported launch dates range from January 7 to January 8, 2025.

Overview

The Reflection version of Kell's Fall: the first run; completing it grants Slayer's Fang, an Exotic Void shotgun, with Tonic supplies and four Exotic catalyst quests. Final boss: Reksis Vahn.

Launching

Complete Acts I and II of Episode: Revenant, then start the mission from the Holoprojector in The Last City (the story beat involves Eramis). Once unlocked it can be replayed from the Exotic missions list, matchmade or customized. The Tangled Shore location it uses was removed from the game with Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, so this is a return to vaulted space.

Encounters and mechanics

All versions share the early fights against Araskes, the Trickster, Kaniks, the Mad Bomber and Hiraks, the Mindbender. Recurring mechanics: lighting three braziers to open a door, mirror portals into a Prismatic-tinged mirror realm, and collecting Revenant Essence from Weavers (and Champions on Expert) to gain the Revenant Empowerment buff needed to damage immune Scorn enemies. There is also an organ puzzle with playable melodies. The final boss differs per version.
