History of Jailbreaker

Overview

Jailbreaker is a Triumph worth 15 points. It is earned by completing Mission: Jailbreak, which is launched from a Director node in the EDZ. The mission takes place in the Sunken Isles and is part of Season of Defiance.

How to complete

1. Advance We Stand Unbroken far enough to unlock the mission. ProGameTalk says it unlocks after quest step 21.
2. Visit the holoprojector at the Farm and speak with Devrim Kay to hear the briefing.
3. Launch Mission: Jailbreak from the EDZ Director node.
4. Follow the tunnel from the Shadow Legion waypoint into the base, fighting through the Legionary forces.
5. Destroy the armored units: two Goliath Tanks and a Thresher. Leave the Thresher for last.
6. Climb the ramp to the waypoint to rendezvous with Amanda. Defeat Vereziia, a Tormentor variant, then clear the Taken reinforcements and defeat her again.
7. Go up the ramp to the captives and interact with the console to secure the hatch. A cutscene completes the mission and the triumph.

Rewards

Completing the mission grants legendary gear and advances We Stand Unbroken to step 22.

Guides differ on the quest step numbers. Shacknews lists the holoprojector visit as step 20 and the mission objective as step 21. The walkthroughs date from 2023, so later changes may not be reflected.
