Overview

Irrealis is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the Aspect lore book, which was added with Shadowkeep (October 2019). The entry is unattributed to a speaker.

Story

The Garden wakes and the Undying Mind rises from its overgrown barrow, powered by the Goblins. Inside the Vault of Glass, simulated Golden Age scientists prepare to escape while Praedyth waits at his radio. Multiple copies of Maya and Chioma coordinate their actions. The Garden's door opens as the first Minotaur steps forward. The text treats time as something that can be sliced thin enough to reach a needed moment, or torn open, and it closes on the idea that a door is always opening and someone is always stepping through.
