Overview

Iron Banner: Tribute is a 6v6 Iron Banner playlist based on the Supremacy game mode. In Tribute, teams earn points by collecting crests (engrams) dropped from defeated opponents and depositing them at rotating Cabal beacon locations.

Objectives

When a player defeats an opponent, a crest is dropped at that location. Players must gather these crests and bring them to one of two active Cabal beacons scattered across the map to score points. The beacons rotate to new locations periodically, forcing teams to adapt their positioning and control strategy.

Game Mechanics

Crest Collection: Approach a dropped crest and hold the interact key to pick it up
Beacon Deposits: Take crests to active beacons and interact to deposit for points
Beacon Rotation: Two beacons are active at any time; they move to new locations on the map periodically
The Hunt: When a team member achieves a 5+ kill streak and becomes "Primed", The Hunt activates for the entire team. During The Hunt, the team receives an energy boost. The Hunt continues until no team members remain in their Primed state
Multiplier Beacon: A high-value beacon defended by turrets appears during The Hunt, multiplying the value of crest deposits made there
Match Duration: Standard Iron Banner match length with respawns enabled

Strategy

Successful teams balance aggressive elimination with objective control. Winning requires both defeating opponents to generate crests and holding map positions near active beacons. Teams should position players to defend their assigned beacon while securing kills in contested territory. Achieving Primed status and triggering The Hunt can swing momentum significantly in your team's favor.
