History of Intrepid

Revision 5296 by archivist at 2026-10-01 23:22:42

Intrepid is the seal for Episode: Echoes, the first Episode of the Destiny 2: The Final Shape year, launched June 11, 2024 (Bungie press release). Episode: Revenant followed on October 8, 2024 (reported by Dexerto's Revenant coverage; I did not open it, so verify). It needs 14 triumphs spread over Act I and Act II content.

Overview

  • Activity: Episode: Echoes (Enigma Protocol, Breach Executable, Battlegrounds, Failsafe's research quests, the Exotic mission "Encore").
  • Title granted: Intrepid.
  • Status: an Episode seal. Episode activities rotated out of the playlists as the Episode moved on, so some triumphs may be unobtainable now. Check the in-game record.
  • Gilding and time: no checked source (Games Horizon, light.gg search summary) describes gilding for Intrepid, so it appears not to be gildable. Time is not stated.
  • Note: Games Horizon's launch guide (June 20, 2024) said only 11 of the 14 were visible at first, with the remaining three released at the end of the Episode. Search summaries also list an "Echoing Gunfire" triumph (defeat targets with Episode: Echoes weapons) that this page's record does not show, so the triumph list may have changed.
