Overview
Imperials were the currency of Season of Opulence, spent to upgrade the Chalice of Opulence for The Menagerie: more Rune slots, more Runes from activities and more rewards.
Earning
Weekly bounties, certain triumphs and special consumables. Per Shacknews (see A Taste of Power), the Menagerie triumphs total 42,000.
Costs
Rune Bonus I cost 2,500 and Rune Bonus II 3,500 per Destinypedia. Both were removed with Destiny 2: Beyond Light.
