History of Ignition Trigger

Overview

Ignition Trigger is the exotic intrinsic on Tommy's Matchbook, an Auto Rifle. Sustained fire overheats the weapon. While the perk is active, the weapon deals a large damage bonus, but the user burns and loses health over time, down to Critical Health. The PvP bonus is smaller than the PvE one.

A separate meter controls how long the bonus lasts. You can resume it without a warm-up while the meter is still charged, but it provides no other benefit.

Notes

• The Heat Sink roll reduces the overheat damage taken while not aiming down sights. Hip firing also helps with recoil.
