History of III. The Traitor

Overview

III. The Traitor is a lore triumph in Destiny 2. It unlocks the chapter III. The Traitor of the lore book The Once-Shipstealer, added in Beyond Light (2020).

The chapter is set on the day of a prison break. Eramis is recovering from a gut wound taken in an arena match when Variks visits her cell. He speaks of coming change and his need for a leader; she answers with insults and a threat. He replies, "Do not say that Variks did not try to help." Later an alarm sounds with a message in Variks's voice, her cell opens, and Eliksni and Cabal escape.

How to complete

• Progress through the Beyond Light campaign and complete the Deep Stone Crypt triumphs; the Once-Shipstealer entries are acquired through them.
