Overview

III. Down? is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that tracks three progress points. It reveals a lore entry in the The Immanent book, added in The Edge of Fate in July 2025.

The entry is narrated in the first person by a Vex queen who runs networked simulations to find something she needs. She enters the Vex information network through a portal opened by a Gate Lord and moves through layers of simulations unnoticed. Along the way she passes glass cliffs, thousands of failed simulations trying to replicate Light, and a large Minotaur that designs new robotic chassis. She also finds simulations focused on accessing Athenaeum servers. On returning home she finds the information she was seeking.

How to complete

Entries in The Immanent unlock by solving the secret chest puzzle that follows defeating each selectable boss in the Desert Perpetual raid.
