History of II. The Wolf

Overview

II. The Wolf is a Triumph in Destiny 2 for the chapter “II. The Wolf” in the Once-Shipstealer Lore book, which was added with Beyond Light in November 2020.

Chapter

The chapter is written in the third person and follows an unnamed female prisoner. Her neighbouring cell holds the Wolf, a young, attention-seeking Eliksni who wants her acknowledgment. Over time she talks with him, and he reveals a plan to recapture the Great Machine, bind it with Arc wire and draw out its power. She argues that the Eliksni’s strength came from within rather than from the Machine, and that depending on it is a weakness. He answers only that he “will create new spheres.”

How to complete

The triumph has two progress steps. Entries in the Once-Shipstealer are acquired by progressing the Beyond Light campaign and completing Deep Stone Crypt triumphs, so work through both to fill the book.
