II. Isolated Incidents

Overview

II. Isolated Incidents is a triumph in Destiny 2 that presents chapter II of the lore book Polyphony. The book was added in the Final Shape episode Echoes on 18 June 2024. The chapter has no single narrator. It is a set of Guardian incident reports relayed through a VanNet encrypted router.

Lore

The reports describe Vex with glowing collars, mantles or symbols on their necks, mostly on Nessus and in other sites such as the Well of Flame and the Cistern. A Hobgoblin fled instead of attacking, and a Minotaur dove into radiolaria to escape. Other Vex moved in regimented formations under a Precursor's command, and Vex fought rival Vex over a portal. One Guardian saw Vex building small sandcastle-like structures. Another saw a Hobgoblin wave at them before a Titan killed it.
