History of I: Cages

Overview

I: Cages is a triumph within Destiny 2, filed in the Lore category of the Triumphs menu. It unlocks the first entry of the lore book The Book of Unmaking, which was added in Season of the Forge.

The entry is seven short verses presented as a partial translation of ancient Hive text. The verses claim that flesh and mind are cages, and that evolution can only be claimed by being "unmade." The translation carries a note from Teben Grey that admits the Hive's ceremonies and their intent remain largely unknown.

How to complete

The entries of The Book of Unmaking are earned by completing steps of the Last Word exotic quest. Progress that quest to unlock this entry.
