Hunter Killer

Overview

Hunter Killer is a Triumph that asks you to complete the Harbinger activity in 15 minutes or less. The triumph awards 5 Triumph points.

Harbinger was removed with The Witch Queen and moved to the Destiny Content Vault, so it cannot be started by new players. The Hawkmoon and its catalyst can still be found elsewhere, such as from Xûr.

How to complete

1. Get Hawkmoon by completing the Let Loose Thy Talons questline.
2. Pick up Bird of Prey from Crow on the Tangled Shore.
3. Go to Trostland, past the church, to the run-down building on the east side. On the second floor, equip Hawkmoon and shoot the fireplace until it breaks open.
4. Interact with the sparking fusebox inside to start the mission.
5. Bring a fireteam of three, with at least one Hand Cannon and a mix of energy and power weapons to break the enemy shields.
6. Follow the golden hawk through each stage. Break the Taken orbs that block doors to reach the Emissaries quickly.
7. Use longer-range weapons, such as sniper rifles or machine guns, on the final boss. It spawns more enemies as its health bars drop, so clear the adds fast.

The recommended power level is 1270.

Rewards

The first completion grants the Hawkmoon catalyst. Later completions grant a random-roll Hawkmoon. The mission also yields Paracausal Feathers for the Bird of Prey quest.
