Howling Plague of the Witness

Howling Plague of the Witness is a debuff encountered during the Dissent mission in The Final Shape. It limits movement and stops health from regenerating while active.

Effects

Guides describe its restrictions differently. One says it prohibits long jumps, health regeneration and running. Another says it prevents double jumping and healing. In the storm it limits most movement.

Where it applies

It first appears in the desert area early in the mission. It returns after the Veiled Statue encounters and in the storm later on.

Handling it

Getting indoors as fast as possible negates the effect. Players also suggest using the surrounding terrain as cover, since health does not regenerate while the debuff is active.
