Hasapiko, Beloved by Calus

Overview

Hasapiko, Beloved by Calus is a Vex Minotaur of the Ultra rank and one of the rotating final bosses of The Menagerie. The Menagerie is a location aboard the Leviathan in orbit of Nessus, where Calus keeps captured species; Hasapiko was one of his favorite specimens.

Fight

The fight alternates between an immunity shield and damage phases. While the shield is up, Hasapiko attacks with its Torch Hammer and summons Vex to harass the team. Kill the three Major Harpies that make up the Living Firewall; each leaves a pool when killed, and standing in a pool grants the Disruptor Charge buff, which lets players break the shield.

Once the shield is down, Hasapiko can be damaged, but it creates Walls of Deletion. Touching one is instantly lethal, so keep moving while attacking. After about thirty seconds the shield regenerates and the cycle restarts. At one-third health, Hasapiko deploys two Walls of Deletion at once instead of one, and more numerous, tougher adds spawn at certain health thresholds.
