Häkke

Häkke is a weapon manufacturer whose designs favor performance over form, resembling pre-Golden Age technology. It designed the exotic sniper rifle Ice Breaker, a clandestine project commissioned by the Vanguard that explored Golden Age weapon technology. The Vanguard judged the prototypes unsafe for field duty, so the project was scrapped after a single weapon reached testing. The design was later stolen and replicated.

The firm's Golden Age predecessor, Häkke Heavy Industries, was a defense contractor with an interest in xenoarchaeology. It had a terrestrial office in what was Chicago and worked on gravity-based weapons.
