History of Grips of the Exile

Overview

Grips of the Exile are a Legendary set of Hunter Gauntlets in the Armor category. They are the arms piece of the Hunter Exile armor set, which came from Trials of Osiris in Season 10 and has two Arms Armor Mod sockets. The item features the flavor text: "Strengthen the body, empower the mind." —Parables of the Allspring.

The Exile set is legacy: Destinypedia lists the Hunter Exile suit among the legacy Trials of Osiris armor, so it is no longer in the current rotation.

Acquisition

The Grips of the Exile are earned by playing Trials of Osiris. Specific rewards come on the 3rd, 5th and 7th wins, and from the chest for a Flawless run. Trials Tokens can be turned in to Saint-14 for Trials Engrams, which contain previously collected Trials gear. Trials of Osiris armor can also be focused at Saint-14 for a Trials Engram and Glimmer, per the Destinypedia Trials page.
