'''Grandmaster: The Festering Core''' is a triumph in Destiny 2. It requires completing the '''The Festering Core''' Nightfall on Grandmaster difficulty. The Festering Core is a Shadowkeep strike set on Io with the Taken boss Baurisk, Envoy of Savathûn. It was added to Nightfall: The Ordeal during Season of Arrivals.
How to complete
- Launch The Festering Core on Grandmaster difficulty as the featured Nightfall. The strike has a Power level of 750 and is designed for 1 to 3 players.
- Defeat Baurisk, the Taken Incendior, at the end of the strike.
Tips
- The strike was moved into the Destiny Content Vault, so it can no longer be launched in the current game.
Status
Bungie's Update 9.7.0 patch notes deprecated Nightfall-related triumphs and metrics. Progress already earned was kept, but this triumph can no longer be earned. Grandmaster Nightfalls had already been removed as a standalone rotation with Update 9.0.0.1, when Nightfalls moved to a daily rotation, and Grandmaster now appears as a difficulty tier in the matchmaking portal.
