Overview
'''Grandmaster: Sunless Cell''' is a triumph in Destiny 2. It requires completing the '''Sunless Cell''' Nightfall on Grandmaster difficulty.
How to complete
- Launch the Sunless Cell Nightfall on Grandmaster difficulty as the featured Nightfall.
- Complete the strike at the Grandmaster difficulty to earn the triumph.
- Check that the run is counted: a June 2025 Bungie forum thread reported that a completed Sunless Cell Grandmaster Nightfall did not increase the "Total Conquest" counter, and players suspected a bug. If a run does not register, report it through Bungie Help.
Tips
- The community guide on YouTube titled "Sunless Cell - Grandmaster Nightfall Guide (Platinum Rewards)" covers the strike's strategy and rewards.
Status
Bungie's Update 9.7.0 patch notes deprecated Nightfall-related triumphs and metrics. Progress already earned was kept, but this triumph can no longer be earned. Grandmaster Nightfalls had already been removed as a standalone rotation with Update 9.0.0.1, when Nightfalls moved to a daily rotation, and Grandmaster now appears as a difficulty tier in the matchmaking portal.
