Overview

Gotta Go Halphas is a triumph in Destiny 2 from Season of the Chosen. It requires completing the Proving Grounds strike on Nessus at normal difficulty in under 15 minutes. It awards 5 score.

The strike ends with the Halphas Electus tank, which gives the triumph its name. Shacknews's 2021 season guide lists it alongside the other Proving Grounds triumphs, and says it is the only Proving Grounds triumph with a time limit.

How to complete

  1. Launch Proving Grounds on normal difficulty. Lower difficulties do not count for this triumph.
  2. Watcher's Grave: clear the path to the tank. The VIP Valus Ozysas becomes immune at half health and summons a barrier; destroy the generator inside to remove the barrier and his shield.
  3. Infantry Concourse: eliminate three Legionaries, take the elevator, and drop into the vehicle bay.
  4. Halphas Electus: carry two power cores to their receptacles while fighting waves of Psions, Interceptors, Halphas Honorguard Ultras, and Goliath Tanks. You can drop a core briefly and pick it up again. Clear the crowded rooms with an area-damage weapon so the carry is not interrupted.
  5. Rite of Proving: interact with the projection to summon Ignovun. He fights like a standard Centurion, uses a Bronto Cannon, and fires homing Solar projectiles. At each third of his health he becomes immune and summons a barrier; destroy its generator to finish him.

Tips

  • The 15-minute limit covers the whole strike, so skip optional fights and keep moving between the stages.
  • The power core carry in the Halphas Electus stage is the main time cost; plan the route to the receptacles before the waves arrive.
