Overview

Good Point is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It tracks the team score you earn in the Iron Banner playlist, with a target of 1635. How points are scored depends on the Iron Banner mode being played.

How to complete

  1. Queue for Iron Banner when it is active. It appears a few times per season and lasts about two weeks.
  2. Iron Banner rotates through Control, Fortress, Eruption, Rift and Tribute. Points are scored differently in each.
  3. Earn points according to the mode:
  • Control: Holding zones earns points at each interval. Capturing all three zones triggers the Hunt, which locks the zones for a short time and boosts kill points.
  • Eruption: The first team to earn 150 points wins the game.
  • Fortress: Points lock partway through, and a central Cabal point with turrets spawns until the Hunt ends.
  • Tribute: Filling a Cabal Beacon triggers the Hunt. Players drop their held crests on death.
  1. Keep playing until the team score reaches 1635.

Tips:

  • In Eruption, a player who becomes Primed is marked on the map, and must get a kill within 15 seconds or explode, so keep killing to reset the timer.
  • In Control, the points come from each interval you keep the zones, so holding them steadily matters more than a few big fights.
  • Each Iron Banner match grants reputation whether you win or lose, which also helps with ranks and rewards.
