Going the Distance

Overview

Going the Distance is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires a perfect run of The Gauntlet, the Menagerie time trial. All six players must reach the finish line on every lap before time runs out. It awards 25 Score.

How to complete

Form a six-player fireteam and enter The Gauntlet. Every member must reach the finish on every lap. One death fails the attempt, so the team must play the whole run without a death.

Tips:

• Fill the fireteam with six players who already know the route. Random groups struggle to finish without a death, so one guide calls it one of the most frustrating triumphs without a premade team.
• Use a premade team from LFG sites when you cannot assemble six players yourselves.
• Older reports describe a finish-line trick for lap credit. These reports are from 2019 and 2020, and their current status is unknown, so do not rely on them.
