Glimmer Extraction

Glimmer Extraction is a public event on Europa in Destiny 2: Beyond Light, found at Cadmus Ridge among other places. Guardians defeat elite enemies at capture points. For the heroic version, destroy the small machine that spawns at each capture point before defeating the enemies there. See also Crux Convergence and Spire Integration.

How it works

The event is one of the first public events most players encounter in the European Dead Zone. Guardians capture several points and kill three elite enemies at each capture point. Finishing within the time limit completes the event.

Heroic version

A small machine spawns at each capture point. It has low health, but it must be destroyed before the three elites are killed. If the elites die first, the capture point vanishes and the chance to go heroic is lost. Once the machines at all three points are destroyed, the heroic event starts. Guardians then stand at one capture point and kill everything that arrives, including a large boss.
