History of Gjallarhorn

Gjallarhorn is the legendary Exotic Solar Rocket Launcher returned from Destiny 1 in the Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack.

Overview

Its signature perk, Wolfpack Rounds, makes the main warhead split into tracking cluster missiles on detonation. In Destiny 2 it can also empower other legendary rocket launchers with Wolfpack Rounds when it is equipped.

Acquisition

You must own the Destiny 2: Bungie 30th Anniversary Pack. Start the quest "And Out Fly the Wolves" from the Eternity destination ("Xur's Treasure Hoard") in the Director. The steps are:

1. Complete the Grasp of Avarice dungeon to receive a Wolfpack Round.
2. Return it to Shaw Han in the Cosmodrome.
3. Collect seven Wolfpack Rounds from Powerful Fallen (the Exodus Garden 2A Lost Sector can do it in one run).
4. Visit Banshee-44 in the Tower, who needs a component from a Cosmodrome Lost Sector (Exodus Garden 2A again).
5. Assemble the weapon at Shaw Han's toolchest, then speak to him for the finished Gjallarhorn.

Catalyst

The catalyst comes from three secret chests in Grasp of Avarice, reached after defeating three minibosses. It grants an extra shot and, when you defeat a target, spawns a faster, more powerful missile at its location.
