Overview

Gambit Rank, also called Infamy rank, is the progression ladder for Gambit. Ranks are earned with Infamy points from playing Gambit and run from Guardian I to Legend across six divisions: Guardian, Brave, Heroic, Fabled, Mythic and Legend. The first five divisions each have three sub-ranks (I, II and III), while Legend is a single rank.

Ranks

As listed in TheGamer's 2024 guide, Legend begins at 9,000 Infamy with 1,000 needed for the rank-up, and Legend (Max Rank) is reached at 10,000 Infamy. Older guidance differs: a 2021 Shacknews article places Legend at 15,000 Infamy and makes the reset available from that point.

Resetting

Reaching Legend (Max Rank) makes a reset available. A reset returns the rank to Guardian I so the rewards can be earned again, and it is needed for the Dredgen title and some ornaments. Frequent resets also raise the odds of a good roll on Gambit weapons. Reset rewards are tied to the Drifter, and both the rank rewards and the Drifter's Gambit offers reset each season.

Rewards

Rank-ups grant a Gambit Engram, and sub-ranks count. Division rank-ups grant a Powerful Engram before a reset. Rank 4 gives 3 Enhancement Cores and Rank 10 gives 2 Enhancement Prisms. Completing Rank 16 grants an Ascendant Shard and an Exotic Engram. All rewards are account-bound.
