History of Frostveil Boots

Overview

Frostveil Boots is a Legendary Hunter leg armor. The shared flavor line, "Embrace the cold touch of Winter, for Spring is on her heels", is credited to a Dark Age proverb. These are the Hunter boots of the Frostveil set. It is a cosmetic-leaning armor piece with no named perk or god roll in the sources I used.

Acquisition

The Destiny 2 Wiki lists the Frostveil (Hunter), Froststrike (Titan) and Frostreach (Warlock) sets as Dawning 2018 armor in Season 5 (Year 2), obtained from Bright Engrams. The Frostveil Vest entry shows no gameplay perks, only appearance. After 2019 the wiki says Dawning armor moved to ornaments.
