Freelance: Competitive
Matches affect your Competitive Division placement. Wins will lead to promotions. Losses will lead to demotion.
Higher divisions grant greater reward bonus.
Overview
Freelance: Competitive is the solo-only queue of the Crucible's Competitive playlist, where matches move your Competitive Division placement (wins promote, losses demote, higher divisions give bigger reward bonuses). "Freelance" means you must queue alone, so you only meet other solo players. The ranked Survival mode is Freelance Glory: Survival; in older sources "Competitive" and Survival were the same playlist, and the current Glory ranking system may differ from the Division wording in this entry, which comes from the game text. Launch from the Director. Exact current modes were not confirmed.
