History of Fragments of Strand

Overview

Fragments of Strand is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It is completed by buying every Fragment, Aspect and ability sold by the Pouka Pond on Neomuna. The triumph tracks three counters: Abilities (0/11), Aspects (0/4) and Fragments (0/14).

How to complete

1. Finish the Lightfall campaign. Speak with Nimbus, then visit the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes. Strand unlocks shortly after the campaign.
2. The pond grants 500 Strand Meditations, which the guide says is enough to unlock all Aspects and one Fragment at once.
3. Buy the rest whenever you have Meditations. Season of the Witch Aspects (Whirling Maelstrom, Weavewalk, Banner of War) cost nothing. Season of the Deep Aspects (Threaded Specter, Flechette Storm, The Wanderer) come through the Parting the Veil quest.

Tips for earning Meditations:

• Partition Weekly pays 250 and Nimbus Weekly pays 200. These are the largest sources.
• Terminal Overload's second chest gives 75, Heroic Public Events give 30, Lost Sectors give 12 and patrols give 7.
• Strand final blows give 1 each, with a small chance to drop Meditations.

Per character or per account: the Season of the Deep and Season of the Witch quests are account-bound, so you only do them once. Alternate characters that have finished Lightfall can claim the Season of the Deep Aspects for free. Aspects are bought for the current character. The guide does not say whether Meditation balances or unlocks are shared.

The guide lists 12 Aspects across the three classes, but the triumph's Aspect counter reads 0/4, so check the in-game counter for which Aspects it includes.
