History of Forever Fight

Overview

Forever Fight is a Triumph in Destiny 2 worth 150 triumph score. Its objective is to complete the Forever Fight challenge offered by Suraya Hawthorne in The Tower.

Sources disagree on the challenge's form, and the older guidance may be out of date. The current Destiny 2 wiki lists it as a weekly bounty that is completed once, rewarding Legendary gear. A 2018 guide describes it as a clan bounty that needs a level 4 clan and a Last Wish encounter. Treat the 2018 steps as the older version of the challenge.

How to complete

Steps from the 2018 guide:

1. Join a clan and raise it to clan level 4. Clan XP comes from the clan banner, story missions, patrols, public events and Crucible matches, with a weekly cap of 5,000 clan XP.
2. Complete the Last Wish raid. The guide suggests about 550 Power before attempting the challenge.
3. Speak to Suraya Hawthorne in the Tower to find the bounty.
4. In the fight against Morgeth, the Spirekeeper, the third boss of Last Wish, do not kill any Ogres. Killing one prevents the event needed to complete the challenge.
5. Watch Morgeth's back. A sac there swells and glows blue. Focus your damage on it. Destroying the sac kills Morgeth and completes the challenge.

Tips

• Keep the clan active, since the weekly XP cap limits how fast you reach level 4.
• Save your heaviest damage for the blue-glowing sac.
• Avoid Ogres for the whole fight, not only at the start.
