History of Font of Starlight

Overview

The Font of Starlight is a large temple built into a mountain in The Dreaming City, on the Reef. It houses the Blind Well, a powerful Awoken device. It debuted in Destiny 2: Forsaken.

Location

Per Destinypedia it connects to the ley line areas Pallas, Ceres and Vesta and to the Divalian Mists. It is populated by Hive, Scorn and Taken.

History

When the Vanguard first entered the Dreaming City to fight a Taken infestation, Guardians activated the Blind Well and defended it. After Mara Sov's return it became the site of Astral Alignments, where Scorn and Taken loyal to Xivu Arath counterattacked.

Note

Do not confuse it with the Chamber of Starlight Lost Sector, a separate mini-dungeon in the Dreaming City reached from the Divalian Mists; the sources I read do not relate the two.
