Overview

Flawless Thoughtstealer is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to complete all encounters in the Duality dungeon as a fireteam without dying and without leaving the activity. Completing this triumph awards 30 Triumph Score.

The triumph is part of the Discerptor title, which needs 11 triumphs. The separate Solo Thoughtstealer triumph is a solo run in one uninterrupted attempt.

How to complete

  1. Unlock Duality. It requires the Witch Queen content and the quest “A Single Thread” from Hawthorne. Normal has no power level requirement, while Master requires power 1830 to unlock and light level 1840 to complete.
  2. Keep the fireteam together. Shooting a Bell teleports the whole team into a nightmare realm. In the nightmare realm, every player must stay on the plate around the Bell or the team is wiped. Kill the nearby Bellkeepers before shooting the Bell, because they block interaction.
  3. First encounter, Nightmare of Gahlran: collect Standard Essences from the nightmare realm, deposit them in the correct spot in the normal realm, then kill the Visions of Gahlran to start the damage phase. Visions drop red balls that give a short damage buff against nightmares.
  4. Second encounter, the Vault: follow the symbols to the Standard Bearers in the hallways, kill them, and deposit two Essences per damage phase. Repeat until the Bell of Conquest opens the final area.
  5. Final encounter, Nightmare of Caiatl, Princess-Imperial: you need 4 Essences to start the boss phase. When the chains glow purple, shoot them to pull Caiatl into the nightmare realm. She moves toward the Bells, so shoot the Bell she is heading for while standing close to it. This stuns her and boosts your damage. If she reaches a Bell, the damage phase ends at once.

For healing, Solar is the easiest element for this dungeon, and a Solar Warlock is the most effective class, especially solo.
