History of Fire Is the Test of Gold

Overview

Fire Is the Test of Gold is a triumph in Destiny 2 worth 20 Triumph score. It requires earning the complete Menagerie weapon set.

How to complete

The set has seven weapons, from the Menagerie's Normal-difficulty rewards:

• Austringer (Hand Cannon)
• Beloved (Sniper Rifle)
• CALUS Mini-Tool (SMG)
• Drang (Baroque) (Sidearm)
• The Epicurean (Fusion Rifle)
• Fixed Odds (Machine Gun)
• Imperial Decree (Shotgun)

The Menagerie activity was vaulted with the release of Beyond Light, so these weapons can no longer be earned from the activity in current content.

Watch the sidearm: a Bungie forum thread reported a player with six of the seven weapons who was missing the Menagerie sidearm, Drang (Baroque). That is a different weapon from the Drang that comes from the Relics of the Golden Age exotic quest, so a collection that shows Drang as complete can still leave the triumph unfinished.

Rewards
