Final Stand

Overview

Final Stand is the last phase of the Nezarec boss fight in the Root of Nightmares raid. Once Nezarec's health is low enough, he enters the phase, and the team puts all remaining damage into him to finish the fight. Before that, the damage window opens only after the Light and Darkness chains are complete. If the chains are slow, Nezarec releases a dark or light aura that can wipe the team unless players respond in time.

Preparation

Machine guns are commonly recommended, since Nezarec has low health at this stage, and a Well of Radiance user helps the group during the damage window. Players stand together on a plate near the edge of the arena, where Nezarec has trouble reaching them.
