History of Field Prep

Overview

Field Prep is a weapon perk that activates when you crouch. It gives increased ammo reserves and faster reload, stow and ready while crouched: +50 reload speed, a 0.8 reload duration scalar and +30 inventory size.

Use

The extra reserves are useless on primary weapons, which have infinite ammo, but matter on special and heavy weapons. On a Grenade Launcher it adds roughly one extra shot to reserves. It also appears on Fusion Rifles, Sniper Rifles, Rocket Launchers, Shotguns and Scout Rifles.
