History of Felwinter Peak

Felwinter Peak is a mountain in Old Russia on Earth overlooking the Plaguelands near the Cosmodrome, topped by the Vostok Observatory and the Iron Temple.

History

Named for the Warlord Felwinter, who fortified the observatory in the Dark Age. After he joined the Iron Lords, Lord Silimar built the Iron Temple as their headquarters. Lord Saladin kept it sealed until SIVA activity forced his return (in Rise of Iron).

In game

A private social space and activity zone with the Iron Temple (social space, Iron Banner) and the Vostok Crucible map. The Iron Temple opens after the mission "The Walls Come Down". It has hosted Fallen, Devil Splicers and Hive across several expansions through Season of the Wish.
