History of Featured Encore: Morgeth

Overview

Featured Encore: Morgeth is a Morgeth boss encounter variant listed as a featured rotation. Despite the "Encore" name, the sources we opened place these bosses in Pantheon 2.0, a six-player Raid boss gauntlet, not in the Encore Exotic mission from Episode: Echoes; Morgeth is a vaulted boss from Last Wish. Whether the name "Encore" is an in-game label reused for rotating featured bosses is unconfirmed. The related Encore page is the Echoes mission, and the sibling pages are Featured Encore: Consecrated Mind, Featured Encore: Insurrection Prime, Featured Encore: Morgeth and Featured Encore: Warpriest.

Launch, power and difficulty

Pantheon is a "Raid Boss Gauntlet" launched from The Portal, for 1 to 6 players with no matchmaking. It opened 9 June 2026 with the Monument of Triumph patch. Guardians are deliberately under-leveled; difficulty tiers are Adventure, Standard and Custom, with Feats raising reward grades.

Encounter

The final boss of Morgeth Surpassing: Morgeth, the Spirekeeper, with Taken Strength stacks cleansed via symbol puzzles in Riven's Heart. See Pantheon: Morgeth Surpassing.

Rewards

Pantheon armor, reprised raid weapons with new origin traits, Tier 5 engrams, emblems and triumphs toward the Godslayer title; weekly Adept drops on Standard. Per-boss drops are not confirmed.
