History of Feathers in the Refraction

Overview

Feathers in the Refraction is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires the player to collect all five Feathers of Light within The Refraction, an area of The Pale Heart. Completing this triumph awards 15 Triumph score.

The Feathers of Light are part of the 55 feathers across The Pale Heart. Collecting all 55 unlocks the Flock Together triumph, which is required for the Transcendent seal. The feathers in The Refraction are the same for every player.

How to complete

Guides recommend collecting these from The Blooming, which also makes the route back easier. Starting from the Blooming landing zone:

1. Cave feather: head straight and enter the purple-glowing cave on the right, behind some large stones. Follow it to an open area and jump up the stone platforms. The feather sits on a stone to the right and is only visible when you hop upward.
2. Branch feather: jump down from the platforms and head right. The feather is on top of a branch and glows.
3. Tree feather: go to the tree above the crashed aircraft, on the right side of the Shrieker's location.
4. Cliff feather: drop down from a stone and take a few steps forward. The feather hangs above a cliff stone.
5. Waterfall feather: near the waterfall, follow the glowing icon to the last feather.

Collecting all five completes the triumph. Each feather also gives an Enhancement Core and +50 Ghost Reputation with the Pale Heart vendor.
