Overview

Faster than Lightning is a Triumph in Destiny 2 worth 25 triumph score. It is a Nightfall challenge in the strike Exodus Crash. A fireteam must defeat 9 Shanks with Melee attacks before defeating Pykis.

How to complete

1. Start the Nightfall strike Exodus Crash with a fireteam.
2. Melee the Shanks. Normal melee attacks count, and you do not need full melee energy, according to a 2019 forum reply.
3. Count nine melee kills on Shanks before the boss dies. Reports disagree on which Shanks count. One reply said only the Shanks in the boss arena count. A creator video commenter believed the Shanks at the start of the strike also count.
4. Defeat Pykis once you have the nine kills.

Tips: A 2019 reply warned that players nearly died to Shanks while meleeing, so manage health carefully. Spread the melee kills across the fireteam so no one runs out of health.
