History of Fang of Ir Yût (Adept)

Overview

Fang of Ir Yût (Adept) is the Adept version of Fang of Ir Yût, a Legendary Strand Scout Rifle at 260 RPM, and TheGamer notes it is the first 260 Scout able to roll Golden Tricorn. The PvE roll is Arrowhead Brake, Ricochet Rounds, Rapid Hit and Golden Tricorn; Keep Away, Kill Clip and Hatchling are also possible perks. The Adept version adds Adept mod slots and enhanced masterwork bonuses.

Acquisition

Drops from the Crota's End raid. Sources disagree on exactly which encounter drops which weapon, so check the current loot table in game. This Adept version is earned from Master difficulty raid completions (Master challenge rewards give a random Adept weapon). The Master-mode reward structure may have changed since it launched. All of the raid's weapons carry the Cursed Thrall origin trait: after a melee kill, final blows with the weapon make targets explode for a short time.
