History of Familiar Felines

Overview

Familiar Felines is a Triumph in Destiny 2 from Season of the Wish. It asks you to find all 14 Starcats hidden across Riven's Lair, The Coil and the Dreaming City. Completing it awards 25 Score and a Ghost Shell. Completing it is also required for the Wishbearer title. Guides from 2024 name the shell differently (Wyrmguard Shell in one, Exotic Ghost Shell in another).

How to complete

Starcats appear only a couple at a time, one set each week, so you cannot find them all in one visit. Keep a list of the ones you have found.

Locations:

• Riven’s Lair: Garden of Plenty (across the field near the exit portal, over the left cliff edge by the stairs), Temple of the Queen's Wrath (right side of the arena, behind a pillar), Gnashing Chamber (on a table on the left of the central room), Reaver's Orison (defeat the Ogre, then go right to the gnarled tree and check among its roots), and Astral Cloister (on a platform right of the exit portal).
• The Coil: Cell of the Sycophant, on a planter between bushes at the back-right of the room. Keep playing The Coil until this area appears.
• Dreaming City: Blind Well (up the stairs by the large far-side doors), Chamber of Starlight, Bay of Drowned Wishes and Aphelion's Rest (in Lost Sector rooms, next to the boss chests), Spine of Keres (on a balcony beside the Techeun in the Orrery), Harbinger's Seclude (behind the left skull's table in the large chamber), Gardens of Esila (under the bridge to the three statues, reached from The Strand), and The Confluence (near the large Taken corruption, reached through a portal in the Spine of Keres).

Tips:

• Riven’s Lair portals are random. If the one you need does not appear, leave and try again.
• Lost Sector Starcats are usually near the final chest.
• Spawns rotate week to week, and some 2024 guides list different spots for a few of the cats.
